How can I make a difference?

I wanna do something to make a difference in the world.

Even if its something small.

I already do everything green - buy organic, take short showers, turn off the lights, etc. etc.

What else can I do to make a difference? Even if its in my community?

  1. Volunteer somewhere where you are interested in the cause, if you like animals - volunteer at your local APL or rescue service, if you prefer people, volunteer at a hospital (you may like it and decide to become a nurse) it can also get your foot in the door for paying jobs later.

  2. listen to what you are saying YOU are making a huge diffrence im very proud of you

just because everyone els know you are doing that it still is a big diffrence you are making =]

  3. recycle =]

    get your school to recycle

    plant trees

    make a vegetable garden

    =]

  4. Become a teacher! You can have a positive influence over the most people this way. Keep learning and then you can share it with others. And best off keep asking questions.

  5. Get some pen-pals in foreign countries, and teach them about things that are important to you where you live.

  6. I'm assuming your young, schools have volunteer programs.  When driving, let someone go in front of you, be polite to cashiers, etc.  You probably already are.

I heard this on Oprah, leave coupons on shevles in the stores. Sometimes I see it in the store and wonder if it came from Oprah.

You can help on this website.

Churches alway have some kind of volunteering- good luck

  7. Don't use your stove or oven

  8. LOL human activity wont change what the earth is going through. Not an opinion this is a science fact. The only thing humans are doing are making this process of 'global warming' faster.  Its documented that for the past oh you know millions of years, the earth's temperature has inclined and then declined with temperature differences. BUT since the industrial revolution the Co2 emmisions have had a relationship with earth's temperature, that said one's output of emmisions is not enough to affect c**p but when you have the 100,000 in concetrated areas it does affect. one person cant make a difference in this case. But a large population of people would and seeing as through we are still using carbon emmiting appliences it wont matter if you take shorter showers or eat organic.

  9. anywhere and trust me if u keep it up u will become more important then ever
