How can I make a file smaller?

I am trying to send a picture in to a photo contest. It says the file is too large when I try to send it. How do I make it smaller so it will send? Thanks for your help!

  1. change the photo constrants on it.  


  2. You can:

    A-Crop it

    B-Change the resolution
