How can I make a good first impression on an interview?

Im being interviewed tommorow...(waitress) any pointers??

Know something about the company you are applying at

Answer all questions confidently

Act Interested in the job

Ask questions of the person doing the interview not inlcuding "how much money am I going to make?"

First of all dress nice. don't show up with red and green hair and piercings all over your face and body. Smile, smile smile, and act as if you have allot of confidence, and knowledge even if you really don't know what the job entails, don't act like your stupid.

DRESS NICE just cause its a restaurant don't go in looking like a slob or even in jeans they think that its you not caring for there place of business

Make sure your fingernails are weelgroomed. dress nice maybe some slacks and a nice(not showing arms) blouse.

dont put on too much perfume.and be perky and happy. let him know you are a bit nevous if its your first interview, the employer will feel more accomidaded.even if it sound weird so will you...and smile.=D=D

Dress appropriately, make sure you are well groomed and make eye contact with the interviewer and don't fidget or play with you hair etc.. some people get nervous, be very confident. People prefer waitresses who are friendly. Turn on your charms and keep it the days you have to work.

Remember most interview want to know about situations that you have been in and ask behavioal interview questions.  The key is to think of stories ahead of time so you dont spend the whole interview trying to come up with one.  check out the 2 links below they really helped me.
