  1. stickers, paints  anything  crafty  would work

  2. Take it slow.

  3. Cut out cute guys or fashion stuff from magazines and make a collage all over it.  Or you could do pictures of you and your friends.  Then tape it with clear packing tape all over to protect it.

  4. Use sticky Fun Foam shapes. Use tacky glue to help keep them on. Go to www.

    bhg.com for more ideas.

  5. tipex,  band names and colour markers

  6. Glow in the dark paints

  7. Get a chalk ink stamp pad or a pearlescent Brilliance pad from a craft shop. These show up beautifully on dark colours. Try any combination of the following:-

Ink up a rubber stamp and use it randomly all over the binder.

Ink up a small piece of sponge or a folded rag and dab it all over the binder.

Cut a pattern in half a potato, ink it and stamp all over the binder.

Repeat any of the above in a second or third colour.

You could also use Pentel Hybrid gel pens in the pastel and metallic colours to draw on it.

Make a fabric cover. Get a rich looking fabric and cut a piece the size of the back spine and front of the binder plus a 12mm margin. Cut two pieces the size of the front cover plus a 12mm margin. With right sides together sew the smaller pieces to each side of the large piece. Hem the raw edges, turn right side out and place on the binder by bending the covers backwards.

Or you could use a plain fabric and customise it with fabric pens, embroidery, sequins, beads, whatever.

  8. Anything! Your creativity's the limit

You could use paint, pen, bits of wallpaper or magazines, background with silver sharpie words, stickers if you got nice words, bits of fabric..

If you paste things on, though, it can be a little hard, sometimes they keep falling off or getting scraped off when you put it in your backpack, so use common sense as well as aesthetic sense.

  9. goto the craft store and get some of these jewel things - http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?C... - they will have more options ..colors shapes sizes. get some glue cause the adhesive wont hold.

then go crazy! i used to cover my notebooks with those when i was in middle school ( im 27 now )

  10. Spray paint and stencil

3M makes a good spray on sealer.

Or mod-podge I use the gloss mod podge in the orange label

Mod podge can be used as glue and sealer.

Dont forget the inside has possiblities.

  11. get a news paper

    rip medium pieces out

once you have done that cover them in pva glue

    then stick them on

  12. cut and stick magazines on to it.

    simple but effective

  13. sequins!

  14. get All these cool materials. Colored glue that you use for t-shirts con fete. cool stickers and other odd stuff you see at stores then just start with something simple using the glue and soon after you are done that you will get better ideas and then just have fun.
