I was thinking about somehow gluing it to a rock or tile, then putting some kind of clear coat on it.... any suggestions?

  1. If you can go to a hobby shop, they have a clear liquid plastic [ I can't remember the name ] that will harden when poured into a mold. You can make you own mold or buy one, just insert the photo in before it hardens that way your photo will be encased in a block of plastic.  Hope this works for you.

  2. laminate it

  3. The person above me is referring to a great product called "EnviroTex Lite" that will work PERFECTLY! It's a 2-part epoxy that pours like honey... and dries in a day. You can get it at Home Depot or your local craft store. I use it for projects all the time.

  4. go to staples and get it laminated

  5. You can encase your photo in a clear resin compound. Try your local hobby or craft store. This is used to make clear castings for a lot of things. It is a resin that when dry is clear as a bell.

They can tell you how much to purchase and what to mount your photo on prior to casting it.
