How can I make a picture like this?

I think it involves layers and.. well it looks really complicated!

I'm not artist either but I want to make my own version of something like this.. how do I?

Collect the pictures you want to use the buildings are cut out and shadowed in the sky is used colours and different blending modes then a design done on top.All done on photoshop, if you cant work it out Send me your email and i can do one for you.

It's a vector/photomanipulation so I suggest photoshop but downloading it rather stupid. You can get a virus weather your computer notices it or not. I think you should buy it rather than steal it. OR you can download Opencanvas for free which has many of the same things as photoshop. ^.^ As you how to make something like that is pretty simple. The city looks done in MS Paint and is smple black. The background is two different pictures merged into one. This could easily take three layers mininum. To make the two pictures look like one

1) Open 2 layers and put a picture in each

2) Set the top layer to 'multiply'

3) Play with the opacity of each until you like it

well i dont really know but if i was gonna make it i would start pn the bg first then make the rays over it then draw the city on the bottom over it...i think. xD
