Im gonna grow the roses myself. One day I'm going to propose and I want the rose I give her to never die. : )

So it has to be MY rose. not a fake one, or pre-fixed to never deteriorate.

  1. I heard that spraying flowers with hairspray "freezes" the decomposition, as it coats them in a kind of film...you could try this, and the other suggetions beforehand to see how well they work....good luck.

  2. stick it in a book

  3. Hang the rose upside down for several days. It will dry out and remain that way for years. You can also get some silicon powder that will retain it's luster and body. Simply hanging upside down will dry it out but it will still appear attractive and you can get a display case to help preserve it. Try it in your garage or spare room first so you will know what to expect. Will take about a week or more to dry sufficiently.

If you really want to preserve them buy some silica. It's not expensive and works much better and it can be reused as well as the flowers maintain their color better.

  4. Honey, it's okay if you don't want to get married.  Maybe she doesn't either, but you really shouldn't lie to her...
