How can I make a touchscreen LCD waterproof?

For marine/boating purposes...Maybe somekind of shrinkwrap laminate? Any ideas?

  1. You don't make them, you have to buy one that is specifically waterproof


  2. Not really, the screen itself has to be manufactured to waterproof standard, the rest you can deal with with a case with tight rubber edge seals, but the screen, you cant do much about it
