How can I make an entire photo transparent in PowerPoint 2007?

  1. I have yet to find a way. I have a workaround, but maybe there is someone who knows how to really do it??

    Here's the workaround.

    1) Insert the picture.

    2) Draw a box the same dimensions of the picture.

    3) Select the picture and copy (or cut) it

    4) Select the box and right click - go to Format Shape

    5) Under Fill (the first thing that pops up), select Picture or Texture Fill

    6) Under Insert From, click Clipboard

    7) Right below that, you can adjust the transparency.

    It's kind of weird since it isn't a picture anymore, but you can do all the shape effects, etc.
