How can I make certain my Yahoo group shows up in a Yahoo search?

Wait at least 24 hours to make your group listed in the directory:

"It’ll get listed in the Yahoo! Groups directory within a few days, in the category that you select during the set-up process. Occasionally, our team of category editors comes across groups they feel have been miscategorized, and if this happens with your group, we’ll let you know."

create a group with key words- be sure you set it to list in the directory-

mananement- under group settings Description & Appearance - Description (Edit) <- click the edit- very bottom page

Listing Type:    

Listed in Yahoo! Groups directory <--

Not listed in Yahoo! Groups directory  

click save changes
