  1. instead of oil..use a water based sauce instead

skip on the rice and soy sauce(salty)

  2. My advice is to stick to steaming dishes and stir frying dishes with lesser oil during the cooking processes and avoid the deep frying dishes!

Do not eat Chinese dim sum because they usually contains lot of calories!

  3. Use half the oil, switch the oil to olive oil. Switch the soya to half salted version. Do not tempura anything, lot of the dishes that require wok cooking or deep frying can be steamed or sauteed in a non-stick pan without fat. Leave out any of the sauces required, or use very little of them, lots of sugar in plum sauce, tamari, hoisin. Flavour with garlic, ginger, green onion instead.

  4. a brown rice instead of like white, and more boiled chicken in foods, would help a bunch.

  5. Light soy sauce for regular soy sauce is the no brainer. Also, steaming your veggies with water instead of using vegetable oil will take 100 calories per serving away right off the bat. Keep in mind it's not really the calories that matter, it's the type of food. If you're eating a lot of steamed veggies with proteins, you're eating well and there isn't much of a need to trim off the 100 calories. The vegetable oil will significantly effect the taste in a positive way, in my opinion.

  6. leave out the: sugar, oil, honey

p.s. there are lots of traditional chinese dishes that have almost no calories.

  7. -- stirfry veges with olive oil instead of lard.. thats the FATTIEST oil ever...

-- use loads of asian greens and season them with soy sauce and oyster sauce instead of salt. u  get the flavour plus salt (dont add more salt unless u want heart disease)

-- dont use sugar, use honey to sweeten stuff

-- a lot of chinese fod involves steaming. it's very healthy and tastes really yummy..

  8. Use less oil, and use lean meats. Chinese food uses a lot of vegetables, which are usually low-calorie. Avoid the deep fried things like egg rolls and fried wontons.

  9. Stir-fry the veggies with non-stick spray instead of butter or oil. Also, look in the Asian section of the grocery store and find a stir fry mix. Most don't have a lot of calories. I don't know the brand name but there is one that is ginger and garlic. It's very low and sugar and tastes great. Also, make sure to use lean means and stay away from rice and stick with the veggies and meat.

  10. take away the sugar

  11. like wat

    there are many dishes

  12. Don't put too much rice, that stuff has lots of calories in it. What kinds of dishes are you making?

  13. well dont put any
