How can I make deposits to my banks when there are no branches in my state?

I have basic checking accounts with both Chase and Bank of America. As luck would have it, neither of them have branches in Minnesota (where I just moved.) Does anybody know what my options are for depositing checks (i.e. by mail, via atm etc)?? Thanks!!

  1. By mail.  But if you're there permanently, why not change banks?

  2. Please visit this site to locate the nearest BofA ATM machine.

Although there are no branches you can make deposits into any BofA ATM machine to credit your account.

    You can also mail deposits.

Also, ask for direct deposit or electronic transfer.

But definitely visit the site to locate and ATM and hopefully one is close to you so you don't have to change banks.

I am not as familiar with Chase bank's ATM guidelines, you will need to contact them for more info, but here is their ATM/branch locator website. You can always mail deposits, request direct deposit, electronic transfer through Chase bank as well, for sure!
