How can I make eyeliner stay on all day?

Question

Every day I put eyeliner on, and it always comes off pretty much an hour after I applied it. Are there any ways I can make it stay on all day? Thx lots!!! :D

use urban decay eyeshadow primer. this stuff is AMAZING, it'll make even drugstore makeup stay on forever. as for good eyeliner brands, try MAC fluidline gel eyeliner. it's good stuff, although you'll have to apply with a brush. as a general rule, pencil eyeliners don't last as long as gel or liquid, although i understand they're a bit faster and more convenient. but yeah, check out the primer potion. it's readily available at sephora's too.

I would go with Laura Mercier's Kohl pencils, they stay on all day, and come in some great colors.  Best of all they are Kohl they go on nice and easy.  You can also you these pencils to create a great smokey eye.  Good Luck!!

you can either try a new eyeliner, or you can try setting your eyeliner with a eyeshadow that matches your eyeliner. it's kinda like what you do with foundation, setting it with a powder.

I'm assuming you're using a pencil now, that's how I feel when I wear a pencil eyeliner at least. Try a twist-up grease pencil eyeliner. They smear less so they stay on better, but it does tend to get into creases under/around the eyes so you don't necessarily have to re-apply but wipe that area occasionally. Also, liquid eyeliner is great and long-lasting as long as you make sure it's completely dry after you apply (otherwise it smudges all over your eye and/or your eyelid gets stuck- sounds funny, but it's true).
