How can I make fabric covered earrings?

I would absolutely love to make fabric covered earrings!! Please, someone who knows how to do it...please give me a step by step instruction on how to make them! Thanks so much!

You could start by cutting out the shape you want on stiff cardboard, cutting 4 identical shapes. Cut out the fabric you've chosen about a half inch larger than the cardboard. Put the fabric face down, then add some fabric glue or spray adhesive to the cardboard. Put the cardboard sticky side down onto the fabric, then add some more glue to the backside of the cardboard and fold the fabric edges up onto the cardboard. Do this to the other 3 pieces.

Make 2 loops out of wire, then glue the cardboard faces together with a loop in the middle of each pair. To hide the edges, you can glue ribbon or beads. Add a pair of earwires and you're ready to show off your custom creations!
