  1. You can't possibly be serious!!!

Babies not only do not learn that way, but they don't have the cognitive maturity or attention span to decode a concept in two dimensions (as it would be on a flash card).

Pushing your child is guaranteed to turn him/her against formal learning due to the frustration and high, but unrealistic, expectations of the parent.

Please read about child development, or take a course in it so you understand children's cognitive and language milestones. Piaget's stages are a good place to start.

  2. Go to http://www.babystrology.com

  3. You could put pictures of you and your husband, or other people your baby is familiar with, and repeat their names when you show the flashcard.  That'll help him say their names in less time.

  4. take an index card and write or draw on it

  5. All you have to do is get a piece of paper or index card and write or draw stuff on there

  6. Please don't! That's not how babies learn. Give him lots of experiences in the real world, read to him all the time. Make sure he has photographs around of familiar places, and let him be a baby.

  7. Please go to this website and find out why you should not be doing flashcards with your baby.

  10. write stuff on a index card

  11. Step 1.   Find a pencil.  Surely you must have one in the house even if you can't write.

Step 2.  Find some paper.  You can probably find some in one of those inane magazines you read.

Step 3.  Apply the pencil to the paper.

    Good luck.

  12. U can use manila card and u paste pictures u cut from newspapers and magazine. Then under the pic u write the word for the pic. U can also buy ready made flash cards from bookshops. U flash the cards to the baby when they're relaxing or playing.

  13. if your making addition flash cards just  get index cards  and write addition problems dont write the answer and let your baby solve.

  14. You might want to incorporate bright colors with big letters. That's the best way to do it, it'll capture their eyes and creative minds.

  15. Children learn by experience the best and repetition. Take your child to the park, and show him/her the trees, and the birds, and let them dig in the dirt. Flash cards are one way to teach an older child, but not necessary for babies. Read, Read, Read! The best books are ones by Dr. Suess, my daughters fav one was Mr. Brown can Moo, Can You? because it incorporates lots of sounds that she could mimic with me. Be goofy with your baby, tell him/her that ducks go moo, while pointing at a picture of a duck, and see if he/she catches your mistake...if they don't catch it, tell them...No, silly mommy...ducks go quack.

  16. Baby...as in 1-2 years old? That's WAY to young!

    Wait a year or two.

What the heck is wrong with parents?!

    Let your children have fun!!
