How can I make it appear as though I've worn my retainer and headgear a lot?

Well, I just realized I haven't worn either in like two weeks, and my orthodontist appointment is in another two weeks. Any way to make it appear like I've worn it a lot?

Very sad, you have been given the opportunity for healthy,straight teeth that will last a lifetime and you are squandering the privledge....

It may SOUND like everyone gets braces here, but they don't and you can't appreciate what you have.  YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!

none of you guys are helping this kid.who cares about the money it's embarassing. whoever neck strap  put a little dust/dirt on the neckstrap because that's what they check first. If it's clean they'll know.

Start wearing it now and fess up when you see the orthodontist.  If you don't wear them you are just going to have to wear them longer.  The orthodontist is going to be able to take one look at your teeth and be able to tell.

Trying to cover it up and lie about it isn't going to help your teeth, not to mention its now going to cost more money since the treatment will take longer.

It's kind of in your own best interest if you wear those, he could really care less either way. I mean, it's not like a test or something and at the end of the day he gives you a gold star and a certificate "He Wore His Retainer and Headpiece All the Time." If you wear YOUR retainer and headpiece, then YOUR teeth don't move and then YOUR smile looks good.

I'm really wondering if you paid for your own braces? And if you did, would you be wearing your retainer and headpiece?
