How can I make it more challenging?

it's like I am trying to make my own monopoly ... I get really bored playing the original one.it's not challenging and fun to play ... so I came up with the idea of making my own set of monopoly ... I am going to combine PayDay and Monopoly into one to make it even more fun with the real american dollars printed out of web as monopoly money.. I am not sure about the layout of the game board. can you tell me how can I make it more challenging?

Get rid of the dice and add action cards.

One easy way would be to limit the number of properties that a person can hold at any one time.  This way, you would have to prioritize, and not just go around the board buying up everything you land on.

i would stick with the monopoly layout, but have pass go as a month. i would also include different rules for different roles of the dice e.g. you always have to roll higher than a 2 and double 6 is a free card or something. forefits in a game are also fun, so a community chest card could be sing the names of all the properties from memory. this is the a weird idea but you could make a pile of cards which say most money wins and most money looses, you select this card at the start (randomly) and no one in the game (not even you) knows which one it is, therefore it creates suspense throughout the game as you are not sure whether to be a tycoon or a pauper. have fun.
