I have 14.5 GB left out of 33.1 GB. Is there any way to do a complete clean, to get rid of files and things I don't use any more to get more space?

  1. try defraging it it and uninstalling unused programs

    here

    http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive...

  2. go to program files first and delete and file you dont use regularly

then go to system tools and do the disk clean-up

(your computer might be different then mine so just search these things on your computer)

it depends on how much stuff and what kind of stuff you have but last time i did that i gained 2-2.5 GB just using the disk clean-up..

    .

  3. disk de-fragmentor and disk cleanup (system tools), at least thats if u have a pc, im not sure about mac, hope i helped

  4. 1. Remove or clean up system restore.

    2. Do disk cleanup, available in properties of drive.

    3. Delete temporary files

    4. Empty recycle bin.

    5. Change virtual memory settings

  5. You can delete files, offload them and uninstall programs.

"cleaning' as you call it will create more headaches.

So many guys 'wipe' the hard drive and than cannot re-install windows.

Do not do this, it is borrowing trouble.

Offload everything you can. Dvds, external hard drives, flash drives, whatever.

    Do not 'clean' it.
