  1. pop out a square or two so you can see the middle joints - then spray it with a silicone spray that has a long straw type nozzle attachment.   My dad did this to my original one  20+ years ago and it still flies!   than - just pop the pieces back into place and you are ready to go!

  2. Lube it up. This might ruin it if the colours on the cube are stickers.

  3. Throw it in a tub of melted butter

  4. Just keep playing with it. It will loosen up with use.

Whatever you do, don't put any kind of lubrication in it. It will react with the plastic and ruin it.

  5. greece it with petrolium jelly

  6. Take it apart, and use a thin layer of petroleum jelly on the insides (blacks parts) of each piece as you put it back together.  I wouldn't put too much as it can make it too slippery and easy to fall apart.

  7. Spit on it. Then put butter on it. Then wash all of it off and repeat till you have a sense of accomplishment. You're very welcome.

  8. PUT GREASE IN IT!!!!!!!

  9. First thing you do, is take the cube, turn one side 45 degrees and take flat screwdriver, and pry out one edge piece. Take a nail file, and wherever you see imperfections (like something sticking out a tiny bit, or where it's not rounded) and sand off the imperfections (sandpaper can be used to).

Next clean the cube. Dust off all the dust from sanding, and use a tiny bit of water, and paper towel to clean it. Put it back together.

Now play with it for a while (like an hour) and take it apart again. Spray silicone spray on all of the pieces except the core. Put the cube back together, and it will feel very sticky and stiff. After playing with it for a while, the silicone spray will dry, and you will be able to cut corners. It will move like a dream.

Oh, and NEVER use petroleum jelly, because it will wear down your cube very quickly. Same with vaseline.

Almost all speedcubers recommend this, and it does not wear down the plastic like other lubricants (I would know, because I can get sub-20 second solves most of the time).

  10. put it in your butt.
