How can I make my brown eyes pop?

Question

Right now my eye makeup is boring, all I wear is mascara. My eyes just look blah, they are dark brown. Picture:

What makeup can I use to make my eyes pop?

use very virbrant eyeshadow colors. NYX eyeshadow singles are really good and really cheap (from cherryculture.com) and Wet and Crazy eye shadows are super pigmented and cheap on there too ($2). check 'em out.

navy eyeliner....on your upper lash line.  An eyelash curler and some black mascara.

put eyeliner along the bottom lashline. NOT right up against the eye, it'll make your eyes look smaller. put a little mascara on the bottom lashes and a lot on the top. then use eyeshadow in shades of gold or flecks of gold in it to bring out the lighter brown in the middle of your eyes.

The key to make any eye colour pop is the eyeshadow colour.

The best on brown eyes are green and pink. other colours like champaigne, copper, bronze, royal blue, purple, and some browns work good too.

So pick out some colours you like and try them on. Getting a multicolour palette is worth it instead of buying the single colours.

Apply the lighter colour usually a neatural or shimmery colour over you whole eye area. Apply the colour to the mobile part of your eyelid. You can bring this colour out and up towards the outer of your eyebrow to give your eye a little 'lift' or a smokey look with out the ''smoke(black)'' Than take the dark colour and apply it just in the crease of your eyelid. This will define your eyes more.

You can pick a green,purple, or/and black eyeliner and line your top lid. You can also line your bottom lid but your eye colour won't pop so much if it is black liner. If you like just line the very outer edge - 1/3 - of the bottom lash with the black liner. This way it will look like your lashline is lined with the liner but keep your eyes bright. it will also make your eyes look bigger. You can also get a shimmery white liner and apply it in the inner corner of your eye and along your bottom eyelash line to make your eyes bigger and brighter.

Anouther trick to get your eyes to pop is to go with a light lip. If you apply a dark lip it will take attention away from both your eyes and lips and the focus will be on your nose mainly. So go with a sheer glossy lip. Also do not apply to much blush if you wear blush. Just enough colour because that can take away from your eyes too.

Anouther tip sometimes is to do the oppisite from what people say. So apply a very dark lip. And just line your upper lash line in a  dark colour and apply mascara. Apply a shimmery white along the bottom. It'll give you the kind of pop like christina in the link i've provided.

It is a different look and more burlesque, but changing up your make up application and the look can make your eyes pop more when your around people that see you every day.

line ur eyes with black eyeliner on the bottom. coat ur lashes with mascara...use liquid liner to make a thin line on the top lid, and extend the liner to make a tail at the end (makes u seem like u have more eyelashes and opens ur eyes)

find a metallic/goldish eye shadow and lightly sweep some on ur lid, and put a smudge of it in the inner corner of your eye and sweep it slightly below your eye. this will make ur eyes really pop! this is what i do when i go out and my eyes look great! (mine are brown too!)

my eyes are brown, but a bit of a lighter brown and i use light green eyeshadow, or purple, navy blue, but that dosent do the trick as much as
