I like to wear black eyeliner sometimes, but this makes my shadows under my eyes look darker and more obvious. What can I do to make the shadows less prominent when I wear dark eye make up?

  1. Most of it is genetic. I have them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have heard that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear darker. Not sure if it's true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your face as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may help. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy's and just a tiny dab of it does wonders on dark circles.

vitamin E oil, olive oil, cucumbers, & a doctor can also help. I have pretty bad ones so this is all from experience.

    Hope this helps. :)

  2. I have circles under my eyes too. Use concealer under your eyes and mix with a little bit of your moisturizer so it doesn't look cakey. Also try wearing an eyeshadow that has a bit of shimmer but is about your skintone. This makes the circles appear lighter and less noticable.

  3. Apply concealer 1-2 shades lighter than your skintone. I would reccommend a brightening and concealing concealer. I use Benefits Erase Paste, apply it to your dark circles, one on the inner corner and one dot on the outer, pat and sweep, don't rub! Set with powder.

  4. i use a foundation that matches the colour of my skin, and apply it just under the eye =]
