How can I make my dream come true?

Okay.

So I didn't really know what my question is... it's just I watch things like HSM and Jump In and Camp Rock, and I LOVE music, and acting. I'd LOVE to become a singer. Or an actress or both!

The thing is... I lack confidence. I can't do anything. I shouldn't even call it 'lacking confidence' because I have basically none.

I used to show horses, so my friends say how can I do that with no confidence? and I say, you get used to it. So there it is I got used to it, so why can't I sing in front of people? I can't even sing in front of one person.

Basically I just need help, what should I do, how could I gain confidence?

I've wanted this for a while, and the truth is I'm only asking now, because the last few nights I've been crying. That's how much I want this.

first of all you are on the right track.

half the battle is knowing that you need to change something.  the other half is changing it.  confidence!  you need it in order to be on screen and on stage.  people are critical and it seems like you are critical of yourself.

first of all you need to focus on your good qualities.  i think confidence comes with age as well.  start taking classes or something.  you can do anything but it won't be good if you don't do it with confidence!

i sing, and i really hope i make it big.

i wnated to be an actress too but i cant remember things longer than a song. but at the beginign i didnt like to sing in public, not infront of my parents [too nervous] but this person talked ot a big group of us and he said "when you feel like sometihng inside you is scared or nevous - wait nervous? what is that? your not nervous, your exited!"

tell yourself that whenever you feel nervous. god! the first time i performed my hands wer sweating like crazy!! but i just repeated that for myself and i got up there and did fine =]

i just watched camp rock hahaha it was great it just gave me more hope for the future!

anything you do in life needs confidence, u probably have a lot to give you just have to let it out! =]

never let go of your dreams and repeat it to yourself whenever you get out there

getting up in stage even in school plays with a small roll can help you overcome your "stage shyness" if you wanna call it that. and if you really want it, thats great!

First believe in your self and second don't shy.Remember always that no matter what you can make your dream cam true just know that your voice is great.

Remember every time you get shy and you can't sing  in front of someone just breath and put your head that your in your room with no one.loll But no matter what your voice will always be great...
