How can I make my eye sight better??

Besides getting surgery, contects, and glasses. How can I make my eye sight better? I think I have 20/70 or 20/60 version. Anyway to make it better or stop it from getting worse?

I still wanna watch TV and stay on the computer for a while. So how can I make it better/stop it from getting any worse while still on the computer/watching TV for a long while? Where sunglasses while on the computer? Make the computer more dimmer? Will eatting carrots IMPROVE eye sight a good bit? How many would I have to eat for how long till I start noticing?

I know not to squit eyes, read in the dark/write in the dark, and have lights on while on the computer/watching TV, anything else?

Will reading farther away help to?

  1. Try some bilberry. It can be found in the store with the vitamins and herbs. It really does help with night vision.


  2. You Really need Vitamin A. Vitamin A is a vitamin which helps the quality of eyesight and Vitamin A comes from multivitamins, Papaya fruit, carrot, caviar and etc.. you should also wear protective wear like eyeglasses which has like a bit sun glasses but clearer and really less darkness

Carrots and fish has more to do with eye health vs. eye sight.  Your eyes can be totally healthy and you may not have 20/20 vision.  Many factors go into your vision Rx.  Cornea shape and the distance from the retina determines most visual acuity.  There are some other factors sometimes, but most myopic (near sighted) patients it has more to do with the just the way you eye shape and size is.  Your Rx may change over time due to the aging process.  As you get older everything in your body changes shape and age, your eyes are no exception.  The best thing you can do is have yearly eye exams to check for eye health problems like glaucoma and macular degeneration.  Both can have a huge affect on you eye sight.  Having a healthy diet including fish and carrots are great.  Also wearing sunglasses when in the sun are good ways to protect your eyes.

  8. training the muscles in your eyes can also help, just  to the exercise where you follow the movement of a pen without moving your head for a few minutes everyday, it will strengthen the muscles. other than that, wear your glasses when you have to! and you would have to eat quite a lot of carrots, it would probably make you sick before it improved your eyesight!!!!
