How can I make my eyes look bigger and brighter?

I have small asian eyes and monolids so any liner or shadow I put on my top lid dissapears when i open my eyes. But I really want to make my eyes look bigger. Any suggestions?

use a black eyeliner on top of your eyes, and don't use a bright color for the eyeshadow, because it will nurture the 'mongolian eyes' look, you probably should use peachy colors like medium pink and a bit dark orange, and use a mascara so that your eyelashes would be obvious..I have the same eyes like that, only it's a bit wider coz my dad's indonesian and my mum has chinese, when I tried to experiment with the things I mentioned to you, my eyes became more seen..

if ur using dark eye shdow and eye liner, switch to a white eye pencil, and a lighter shade of  eye shadow, this will make your eyes look bright, big and attentive(notto mention attractive, with those pretty peepers.) for the dissapearing act, put the LIGHT shadow all the way up to ur brows, kinda blend it at the sides, tho...

I would say white eyeliner but im mixxed asian and it looks weird on me. I guess try it or try looking on youtube like girls like xteener or fafinettex3 :]

i have small eyes to n i try to make it look big n pop 2 words EYE LINER i used dark brown but it depends on ur skin tone go with something dark n mayb you can try smokey eye shadow it looks realli good and makes your eyes pop n alot bigger. good luck hope i helped.=)

Start out with a clean canvas (Concealer, Foundation and Powder on your face).

Take a white or pearl eyeliner, and line the lower rim of your eyes. Pearl eyeliner is less intense looking than white because it looks more natural, but for this I decided to use white so you can easily see the difference.

Take a Q-Tip and clean off any excess white eyeliner. They like to collect up on your lower lashes, but if you cannot get them all off do not fear, we can cover them with mascara.

use a light eyeshadow over your entire lid. This gives your eyes color. Also avoid dark colors because dark colors advance while light colors recede.

Then take a silver eyeshadow and apply it around your tear ducts. This helps brighten your undereyes.

Now take the same silver eyeshadow and apply it on your upper brow bone.

If you need to, this is a good time to shade in your eyebrows. A basic rule of thumb, 3 shades lighter for brunettes and 3 shades darker for blondes.

Line your eyes. Make sure the line is very thin. The look we are trying to achieve is a very bright clean look.

Take your eyelash curler and curl your lashes.

Take a business card, and use it to shield your eyelid. While shielding your eyelid, use the card and lift your lashes up. You should be able to see all your lashes in front of the card. Now take your mascara and coat your lashes. I tend to use this technique when I want to coat all my lashes.

Now, here is where the magic happens. Many girls who use white eyeliner tend to not apply mascara on their bottom lashes. From what I have experienced, when you apply black mascara on your bottom lashes, this helps OPEN up your eyes.

Your eyes are like flowers, and you need to bring out every petal for it to look bigger and brighter.

Sometimes, your mascara will mix with the white eyeliner, do not fear, that is why the Q-Tip was invented. So swab those nasty muddy.

Now, can you see the difference. This is foolproof regardless of how bad you s***w this up, because your eyes will appear larger, brighter and less tired
