  1. not really! hair grows at it,s own pace. you can,t slow it down or speed it up.

  2. There is a cream called Vaniqa, you can only get it on prescription and it takes up to 4 months to work. Used twice a day, it slow down hair growth completely. It was originally tested as a cure for some forms of skin cancer, but doctors discovered that in actual fact, it had no benefits for skin cancer and instead all it did was slow down hair growth wherever it was rubbed. But remember - it does take up to 4 months before you will see any results.

  3. waxing or electrolysis.

  4. First: Never shave. It causes the cut end of each hair to be blunt, thus making it look thicker and darker.

Electrolosis hurts to h**l. Waxing's fine but it obviously grows back.

The best way to go is to use Variable Pulsed Light (VPL) technology.

The light applied through the VPL process is absorbed by the melanin (the pigment which gives hair its colour), with the result that the hair follicle is heated up. This heat is transferred to adjacent cells, causing them to die. By destroying these cells, it prevents the follicle from producing further hair growth, without causing any damage to the surrounding skin or blood vessels. Previously, hair depilation was associated with lasers, however, it is now recognized by experts that Intense Pulse Light and in particular Variable Pulsed Light Systems regularly achieve better results than other techniques.

Plus, it's suitable for almost all hair types. Bonus.

  5. You can go to a beauty parlor (or whatever place it can be) that have "laser treatment" that removes hair (such as in armpit or wherever private places).  They said if you do this treatment at least 3-4 times, then the hair on that area will stop growing.
