It's an Acer Aspire 5315, and it plays fine with low detail and 640x480 resolution selected. I want to be able to play with it at high detail level and maybe even a higher screen resolution but it plays VERY slow that way. Quick specs on the laptop are: Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Intel Celeron CPU 500 @ 2.00GHz, 120GB hard drive and 2GB memory.

  1. Hi Lil

you have a good laptop and the first thing is to check your version of Direct X and make sure it is v9.0C That will synchronzie the audio and video so it runs smoothly.

I must warn you that the Celeron is not the best for games and very sluggish. Plus, the service pack 3 is a buggy update and doesn't help.

  2. the only thing i can recommend for laptops is to either buy more ram, update your video drivers and update your directx

  3. just buy some more RAM =]

to check what type you need check this website :

  4. You cant, your onboard graphics has reached its limit on how much it can cope with, and you cant upgrade it either.

  5. yea go get an xps i have 1 and even the crapy xps works better than the 1 that you have this is wut you can do upgrade the ram cant do much

  6. you can download windows game launcher.  it shuts down all unnecessary processes on the computer while you play.  when you quit the game it returns the computer to how it was when you started.  google it
