How can I make my i-phone 3G phone volume louder? Even at its highest setting it’s annoyingly low....?

I have an 8g iPhone, and I had the same problem. I had got a new one since the first one they sent me had a battery defect (horrible experience) but I thought my new one had a volume problem. Have you taken off the plastic cover it came with? I kept mine on because I want my screen protected (I later bought those screen protectors). My volume was annoyingly low also, I was pissed. But then when I unexpectectly took it off and put the screen protector on, it was loud. Also check if one of your speakers is broken, sometimes one of the speakers can break due to over-charging, getting it wet, or simply made poorly. If any of this doesn't work, I would contact Apple and figure out what's wrong, their number is on the site. If it is really broken they will definitely send you a new one, you would just have to pay for shipping, but that's it. Mine was broken, they sent me a replacement iPhone for the time being, then sent me a new one because they couldn't fix mine. But they're really good about it. They said it would take 2 weeks for my fixed or new iPhone, but it was like 4 days. Well I hope you get it all right and I hope one of these options helped. =]
