I have taken up 3.11GB of memory from only 615 songs, this cant be possible. I only have an 8GB iPod Nano, and at the rate this is going, I regret getting such a small device. How can I make the songs take up less memory?

  1. what u can do is delete songs u rarely listen to. thats what i do the other day i looked at my songs in itunes and as i went through them i asked myself do i lieten to this? if u answer no then delete it. or be specific and delete songs before year:_______. well its a suggestion. or just buy a bigger device as a refurbished one.

  2. Unfortunately, you can't. Just do a regular iTunes clear-out and get rid of songs you don't want. You can also get rid of the album artwork to create a little more space, however, it won't make much of a difference.

  3. maybe try decreasing the bit-rate but not too much cuz the sound quality gets poorer. you could also try compressing the files by finding an mp3 compresser (try googleing it)
