How can I make my little shed in my yard cool for hanging out in?

Its probably 9 by 6. It has no electricity, but i have an extension cable. Its got spiders and fertilizer in it. It smells like wood and is really hot. how can i make it a cool shed to hangout in? with my friends. I'm 15.

Fumigate it with something that won't explode any chemicals in the shed to lose the spiders, get some kind of floor covering - you can pick up 2nd hand carpet for such a tiny space very very cheaply on ebay but for outside I'd be inclined to go for linoleum or something washable. If you are using a fan mount it on the wall seeing as space is limited and get some sturdy barrels or tubs with lids to put the smelly fetilizer in AND to sit on,(or use as a table if you have seating in there already) you may have to get crafty and make cushions for them though, or pinch some from the house.

Get your friends together and lift the shed above ground and away.Put down some two by fours and plywood where it used to be and put it back when your done. Add a power splitter to increase outlet capacity, running a fan,etc. P.S. a little measuring in advance wouldn't hurt. Good luck and have fun.
