How can I make my own silly putty without borax or bamax?

take elmer's glue (or any liquid glue)

the whole bottle.

then mix it with liquid starch.

keep mixing and soon you shall have silly putty.

but if you don't have liquid starch then you cant.

HOMEMADE "SILLY PUTTY"

2 parts white glue (Elmers)

1 part Sta Flo liquid starch

Mix well.

It needs to dry a bit before it is "workable". It may be necessary to add a touch more glue or starch. You will have to experiment. It may not work well on a humid day. Store in an airtight container.

Has the same characteristics of commercial "Silly Putty". Beware of contact with clothes and carpet.
