How can I make my room more interesting?

My bedroom is pretty boring. I have my bed, a nightstand, and a desk and thats all. My walls are purple with one wall polka-dot wallpapered but nothing else on them. Is there anything I could do to my room to make it more interesting?

It sounds like you need to accessorize.  Get some fun curtains that match your purple, but not a solid color.  what is your bedspread like?  Maybe you can get a new one, and get some fun throw pillows to tie it all in.  Also, a fun rug with some colors will break up the monotony of the white carpeting.  If you are on a budget, have yourself, or friends help you make some cool paintings for your walls.  It could be abstract (no artistic ability required!)

take off that polka dot stuff! Keep it like the other walls. Open up the blinds and windows to let in fresh air and the sun. Put in a cute rug on the floor and rearrange the furniture if it is too cramped. at night put on one light - (like a night light) on to feel comfortable and add some posters of your fave stuff! that's pretty it.

Try buying a rug that has a random pattern and get a lamp and a chair to kind of match..

One cool thing that my 15 year old daughter did was she hung lots of old CD's and DVD's from her ceiling with clear fishing line and push pins.  She got the disks from old ones we had just lying around or that she got cheap at yard saled. I looks really good with her music posters she has everywhere.
