  1. Use light-colored paint on the walls, large mirrors hanging in a few places, and put furniture towards the walls, rather than in the middle of the floor, breaking up the space.

  2. Put mirror tiles on one wall preferably across from a window, or a large mirror can work too! Good luck! Plants can add depth and dimension too!

  3. dont put more stuff than you need to in the room- the less stuff you have in there, the bigger the room will look

  4. Use sum big mirrors in specific places and your done! Instant bigger sitting room! " so to speak"

  5. how is this related to trains?

  6. paint it yellow and add lots of lamps for glowing light. the lighter the tint of the paint, the larger the space will seem. Also, light will cause the room to look wider. yay for yellow!

  7. What does your question have to do with rail transportation???

  8. go buy a ware house... Would that be a big enough sitting room..... Besides, all of us model railroaders can sit on our beds and in our cars, thus giving more room for the model railroad. I say "to h**l with a *sitting* room", unless you don't mind sitting underneth the trains...lol

  9. I think that you should use less furniture in your sitting room, a room that is sparse appears larger. The use of mirrors on the walls of the room give the appearance of the room being larger. You should also use lighter colors in your sitting room.

  10. Paint one wall slightly darker than the rest. Or you could always mirror one wall.

  11. Maybe if you put this question in the right catagory you would get better answers
