My big preformance of a musical is tomorrow night, and I would like to know if there's anyways I can make my voice sound better. Should I eat any special foods/ drinks? (I'm under 21 so no alcohol) My voice usually cracks a little after hitting a long note, and I'd really like some advice.

thanks,

xohannah.

  1. Don't drink anything to hot or to cold that will shock your vocal cords. but honey, ginger, and warm water are great for your voice.

  2. DRINK HOT WATER WITH HONEY IN IT

  3. Drink PLENTY of medium temperature water. That's probably all you should drink. Carry around a water bottle every where you go. Don't eat dairy products. Practice your breathing a lot, and make sure you're in tune by matching up your vocal notes with piano notes. Practice your scales, and that will help with the higher or lower notes. Hold out each note for as long as you can and make sure each note sounds pleasant. Practice Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Te, and then mix them up to get different melodies.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be wonderful!

  4. Drink water, hot tea and don't over work your voice to much.. if you want only practice for about 5 minutes but really save your voice.
