  1. yes I was just going to say that have each guest bring one flower of there choice and have them hand it to you as you walk down the aisle.. Its beautiful I love it

  2. My friend had a bouquet with different quotes typed on paper tied to each rose...(she had like 25 roses) and at the reception when she tossed it...it flew in all different directions. Totally unexpected and they got a nice quote with a rose.

  3. A friend of mine wasn't a fan of flowers, so her bouquet was made up entirely of greenery - ivy and ferns and other leaves. It was actually colorful with the different shades of greens, some solid, some variegated, some with reds or purple in it.

I haven't seen anything like it before or since.

  4. I actually had my florist make mine out of silk flowers which I have kept for over 25 years.

  5. I'm unsure of this sorry, but can I just wish you the best for your big day??  You're soooooo lucky to be getting married and I hope all goes well.  God Bless you both.

  6. keep in mind that most of those beautiful arrangements and bridal bouquets you see in pictures or magazines were probably done by professional floral designers with years of design experience and floral know-how. But if you're up to it, make the project more fun than frustrating, more awesome than awful. The keys to beautiful wedding flowers are planning every detail, getting everything together in one place, and practice, practice, practice.

    Get Lots of Ideas

Look through magazines, books on floral decorating, visit fine floral shops, and take pictures of floral arrangements you like in public places. A 5-star hotel is a great place to get ideas. Go on a Saturday and you'll probably see weddings already set up. The more ideas you have, the more you'll have to incorporate into your wedding flowers.

  7. put alot of colors in it! and not just flowers but like bows and stuff like that

  8. I have been in weddings where they bride collected the flowers from the bridal party or groomsmen as she walked down the aisle. Once she collected all of the flowers, they were hand tied. It just adds a personal touch and it incorporates your friends and family into the ceremony.

My bouquet consisted of cream and white roses, embellished/jeweled Stephanotis with little hints of pink throughout because my dress had pink beading. The thing that set my bouquet apart was the fact that I had a monogram of our initials. It was clear rhinestones/crystals. On the left side was my first initial; the middle was our shared last name; and on the right side was my husband's first initial. It looks really nice, and it wasn't that big. It just added a bit of "bling" to my bouqet. The other thing I had was an encrusted handle. The rhinestones were clear and pink, but they were in a design. I haven't seen very many encrusted bouquet handles, but they are really pretty.

The best advice I can give is just add your own flair. I have seen everything from feathers to crystal stems to ribbons.

  9. Add feathers.

Yes, I have seen something similar to what you stated. It is a very very old tradition. As the bride walks down the aisle she is handed different flowers brought by her guests, the flowers are at the end of the rows being held by whomever is in the chair on the aisle.

  10. maybe carry a simple rose instead......or all different flowers but same color. or all different colors but same flowers

  11. well if you do that then you wont have a bouquet till the reception, not for the ceremony and formal photos.

you can ask each guest to bring one flower for your bouquet and leave a basket.  then have the bridemaids get that baskets and you can arragne and tie them together with a matching ribbon.  Just mention colors if you want something certain

    feather bouquet

    crystal bouquet

  12. Add feathers to it. It can look really chic! Here are some pics:
