Question:

How can I make myself have dreams?

I rearly have dreams I want to have Dreams and know how to control them ideas ???

  1. You already have dreams. You just don't remember them. Keep a notebook by your bed and before you go to bed write the date in it....then write "i remember..." and go to sleep with the conscious thought that you want to remember"

    You might want to repeat to yourself "remember" as you fall asleep. If you wake up in the middle of the night and remember something, anything, write it down....same in the mornings....or in the middle of the day.

    You might not remember anything at first...but keep dating the paper anyways, until you do. The more you do remember bits here and there and write them down, you will be redirecting your energy and it will come more naturally.

    It also helps to make a note of things that stand out to you in the day as your day is just another dream.

  2. ummm try thinking about whatever you wanna dream about as your trying to sleep it doesnt allways work but sometimes you get lucky

It is very unlikely that you rarely dream.  What happens is you have dream amnesia.  In other words you simply do not remember the dreams that you do have.  You also have dream paralysis, otherwise you would be moving around way too much while you sleep.  If you go to sleep with the strong intention to remember your dreams while you are awakening, you can sometimes remember and reflect on your dreams.

  4. Check out Altered States . com. They have devices for something called lucid dreaming or you could just search "lucid dreaming.  Er all dream all the time it seems you (as myself) do not remember them - but you do in fact dream.

  5. Try going to sleep when you are just tired and not worn out tired. This may help alot with having dreams. It helps me. As for understanding your dreams try going to the library and checking out a dream dictionary. I would give you the name of a few, but I just packed them away today because I'm moving, but if you check out past questions I've answered on dreams you will find the names of the books there. They are very interesting books and you don't have to read them like regular books. They are set up like a dictionary. Good Luck!!!!

  6. This is called Lucid Dreaming. Where u dream and remember the dream and have choices in the dream. You can increase their occurance somehow, try googling  "lucid dreaming"

  7. Whenever I remember my dreams, I write them down in detail (as much as I can recall) in a notebook...your brain will get in the habit of recalling details about your dreams and you'll start to remember them more often.  I remember my dreams almost every single night now.

  8. maybe if you eat something before bed it'll help.

    at least it does with me :P
