Question:

How can I make myself less jumpy?

Little noises and things startle me, my whole body reacts. How can I help that?

  1. you must of lived a over bearing childhood, dime store psychology, try heavy sedatives you're less likely to budge at all if you take enough of them.

    but I am not a psychologist so please do not try that at home. =)



    I'm just kidding. I'm a little slap happy and I am so tired of people not having a sense of humor.


  2. what helps me is to just take an environmental inventory... look around you and see what's going on. make sure you know where you are and how to take charge of anything that might arise and at that point, you'll respond to situations rather than react to them. :)

  3. You need to lower your resting anxiety level.  What I mean is, you need to consciously relax your body so that your body (and therefore your mind also) will be in a less agitated state.  Then when something unexpected happens you will have more "room" between your resting state and your agitated state (if that makes sense).

    Maybe try exercise, walking, listening to music, yoga, meditation....
