How can I make new friends to have fun with, i'm 24?

I"m trying really hard but just can't find new friends. What can I do?

all u can do is be yourself. go out and strike up conversations with random people. you only want people in your life that like you so if somebody is a jerk its an obvious sign you two wouldnt be friends anyway

go to alot of place you like to go more then you would most of the time. If you meet someone at a place you like, at least you know you have one thing you both like to do
