Question:

How can I make partitioned disk (F) with with 75 GB, the main disk. Local disk C has 10 MB. ?

OS is on Local disk (C). I cannot upgrade my existing windows service pack 3, since it says no space on hard drive (disk c). Thanks for your response. Dont know much about comps.

  1. control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk manager

  2. You can use partition manager application like Acronis Disk Director

  3. you can make your c 75 gb and the f drive 10 gb by re installing the windows and choose the hard drive that you want to install in it the windows

    actully it will ask you about the hard drive that you want to install the windows in so choose the hard drive that has the bigger ammount then it will formate the hard drive then install the windows in it

    and now you have a bigger amount C!

  4. you can mount a partition in an NTFS folder using the disk manager built into windows

    go  to control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk manager

  5. Move everything like music, videos, pictures to the slave drive with more space and upgrade.
