How can I make sure that someone's flash drive or cd isn't carrying a virus before they put it in my computer?

I have Norton Security. Would this protect my computer from a potentially infected cd or flash-drive?

  1. I think it should, at least my AVG antivirus protects me from them.


  2. Standard....before you open the flash drive, scan with your anti virus first...then you can view files after.
