How can I make the crickets stop chirping?

With having a reptile as a pet comes the fun of having a meal or two chirping about inside the cage. This gets annoying!!

I know there is a way to make it here they can longer chirp....besides death. I also know it has to do with pulling one of their wings, but I don't know which one.

Does anyone out their know what I am talking about and can help me in de-chirping this annoying buggers!!

  1. they use their legs (not wings!) as a way of communication to one another by making these odd chirping noises, so if the reptiles have them as pet food try pulling of the legs when feeding it (both of them to be sure) as if you don't it will always chirp whilst in there with its legs still attached as when it sees the reptiles it chirps and send a distress call to the others to warn them as it is in their nature. anyways good luck and i hope you can have a more peaceful day without the chirping!

  2. they dont use there wings they use there legs you can just pull one of the legs off and there is a way by changing the heat they live in but im not 100% sure about that

  3. ugh girl u work at a petstore just buy enough he needs for the day so u dont have leftovers

    or

pick em out carefully and buy the ones that havent gotten to that stage yet!!
