Is there anything I can do/purchase to make my 8830's internet run faster?

  1. You can try configuring certain settings in the browser setup.

    Go to Browser > Options > Browser Configuration. You can disable the JavaScript Support, as well as disable Use Background Images and Support Embedded Media. I like to leave the Support HTML Tables and Support Style Sheets options enabled, but you can disable those for more speed.

    Also, if you go to Browser > Options > General Properties set the Image Quality setting to Low.
