How can I make the mose of my small space?

I have a tiny room. It's a converted porch, and it's about 6ft 6in by 17ft. The ceiling is sorta low, so a bunk bed isn't an option, and I have a built-in shelving unit in the corner of the wall as I don't have a closet. The unit isn't doing much for my storage problem, so I have this monster of a dresser (my stepmom LOVES furniture) on another wall, and I don't have a frame for my bed (I just moved in recently). How can I make the most of my tiny room when I barely have enough space for all my stuff?

  1. think about your daily routine and what you use often ( where do you like your clothes and assocories), start there and branch out.  With little space sometimes the fewer the objects the better! good luck!

If you need to shop for furniuture or others try IKEA, has great stuff mostly small and easily movable. Plus they show you setups for rooms and the exact square footage for the set ups. Good luck

  2. If you can paint your room a light color. Maybe bring in more light if you can and some wall mirrors. It will make your room look and feel bigger. If you want more tips check out this website http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dc_design_small...

  3. keep it simple. a dresser, wardrode, TV and a bed.
