  1. make the most of your time with the people you love.

forget about the equiptment. just race down the mountain.

you don't have to ski the whole time, make a snowman or have a snowball fight!

  2. i have the same problem... maybe you can go somewhere else where there is snow. or when your skiing, go in the trees and tree ski. thats always fun

  3. 1.  Choose a mountain that excels in snow making, so there will be some snow to play with.

    2.  Visit the ski school and take a lesson.  there's always a new way to go down a trail...a coach can help you see that.

    3.  Try something new:  snowboarding, snow shoe, X-country (if they make snow on the track), hike, Snowmobile/ATV.

    4.  Shop.

    5.  Site-see:  visit museums, local hot spots, maple syrup,

    6.  Drink.

    7.  Hot tub.

    8.  Read.

    9.  Look for other activities at the resort:  tours

    10.  See if the local town has a gym:  yoga

    11. Go see a movie

    12.  Games

    13.  Make new friends (see # 6)

    14.  Shop some more!

    15.  Ice fish (if there's ice)

    16.  Ice skate (if available)

    17.  If in Lake Placid, go bobsledding and visit the ski jump (those folks are nuts).

Check with the hotel concierge for other ideas.

  4. do things other than skiing, go hot tubbing at night, have a snowball fight, hike and just relax

  5. There is still lots of good snow at Timberline in Oregon. Also Whistler/Blackcomb is operating on a summer schedule.  To make the most of the trip, take money and enjoy the nightlife and the hot tub.

Some of the Rocky Mountain areas may still have snow cover, the Washington Cascade range has snow but no lifts operating so you need to climb to get to the snow fields.

  6. umm..i live in the mountains and there is no snow what so ever in my part of the world but we do enjoy sand boarding during the summer months !

  7. just enjoy life and nature
