  1. We know it's been a whirlwind week of either: a) patiently sitting outside your local Apple store, b) losing touch with family, friends, and significant others while buried knee-deep in your new phone / firmware, or c) desperately trying to ignore the iPhone.

  2. The switch is not that hard, as many people are in your same situation. Basically with the latest iTunes and Outlook 2003 or later (for PC) will take care of everything for you... most of the time. Here is a very simple, step by step help guide from Apple itself:

There is of course a chance that things won't go well, but if that happens, you can always ask for help again. The fixes will depend on what specific problem you face, so I don't want to scare you by giving you a lot of techo jargon, when there is a good chance it will just work fine.

Good luck, and enjoy your new phone! :)

  4. I think you will get caught up quite easily.

iTunes is the universal communicating device for iPhone (or iTouch), Everything and anything you want will communicate through your iTunes.  When you connect your iPhone you will get different tabs for syncing different types of content including, email, contacts, notes, calendar, music, podcasts, video, photos and so on.
