How can I make this video a DVD?

With my RCA Small Wonder EZ201, I filmed a wedding for my cousin. They want it on DVD. I got the video onto Windows Movie Maker and did all the editing. Then I saved it to a movie file on my computer, which took long and I think chopped it into 3 different parts. What can I do now on my Compaq laptop to convert this to DVD? I have tried emailing the files to my friend so he could do it on his Mac but the files are too big. I have tried the "CopyToDVD" trial and it reads "Unknown dic" on the home DVD player.

So what can I do to get this onto a DVD??

Using the ORIGINAL finished movie project, you can use an application like WinDVD.

Or...

Instead of trying to email huge files, use a service like YouSendIt.com to transfer the the .avi or .mov file for download by the other computer.
