Well you see, I live in a single family home (my brother, and Dad) so I have to do all the "womanly jobs" such as cooking, doing laundry, cleaning the entire house, etc. I wanted to know if there was a way to make time for homework, and friends, while I have to do all this.

  1. It's all in time management and creating a schedule for yourself and the housework.  Like if you get home at 3 - dad gets home at 5:30, 30 minutes to make dinner, then you will know that you have from 3 - 5 clear to do laundry and clean.  You can also decide to do laundry once a week and pick a day.  Getting your calendar out is a big help when starting out, and it will also let your family know what you've got planned.  Just a helpful hint: pick yourself up a crockpot and throw in that roast before you go to school.  Then after dinner you can allow yourself a few hours for homework and for hanging with your friends.

  2. Sometimes you have to take a break wit the womanly chorus and stuff. They are supposed to be help you. You need to a life outside of the house.

  3. do like only a few chores, and tell them that they can help you out too. just because your a girl doesnt mean you have to do all the chores

  4. Just do a little bit everyday and leave the weekends to see your friends if you do an hour of cleaning then you will have time each day to do home work or if you ALL do a bit each day you'll get it all done a lot quicker!
