How can I make web pages on the internet smaller?

Does that make sense? I want to be able to fit more on my screen so I don't have to scroll each time.

I think it might help to go to your Taskbar-->View-->Text Size-->(Largest - Smallest)

Choose what you will. There is perhaps another way but if so, I am unaware. Hope this helps :D

Ctrl and press the minus key on the number pad. To increase Ctrl and the + key to make it bigger. Each press of either key reduces or increases the page by 10%
