How can I manage contradictory advices about the use of Gotu Kola in case of Episiotomy?

Some website recognize "Gotu Kola" for treatment of Episiotomy, but some website suggest to avoid it during breastfeeding. How can I fix these contradictory informations?

  1. look for references to peer reviewed journals. if neither has any references to them don't even bother taking gotu kola, a better decision is actually go to a doctor and ask him what to do about your episiotomy.


  2. i wouldn't take a chance with a baby involved. Years ago I took gotu kola & goldenseal for something & didn't know that it was only recommended for a certain length of time & it messed me up. Just don't do it.
