How can I manage my digital pictures taken all the time?

I've saved them on my computer & they dont fit on 1 or 2 cds. Where should I save them as a back up? I wish I could save them all on one device. is there any better way to organize them. Also have trouble naming them. there are just so many. please share your experience with me if you have a better idea.

I have a large Memory Stick (4gigs) all the pictures I take tend to stay on my memory stick until i really want to take them off my camera. after than, I store them all on my external hard drive. but if you want something less bulky and portable, why don't you just buy a flash drive that you use only for pictures? depending on the size of your photos, a few gigs would do fine. that way, you can always go back and edit them.
