I would like my child and I to interact with other moms and children. It seems like a good way to make friends and who knows - a babysitter :) What can I do without it feeling so forced?

  1. Im also looking for a relationship like the one you just described... but I think we are pretty far away from each other... I dont know...

    try cafemom.com

  2. yahoo has lots of groups and myspace has some too. meetups.com has groups but you usually have to pay to join that site. sometimes you can just take your children out places like the park or other activities where you can just strike up a conversation with some of the other moms

  3. Check out Cafemom.com or wahm.com.  Both cater to moms who stay at home or work at home.

  4. Depends on how old your child is. Other moms at school or daycare may be a good place to start. Church nursery or children's church? Local agencies or the YMCA. There are many places it just depends on your lifestyle.

  5. Your local library may have a story time for children your age.  That would be a good place to meet other moms.

  6. my friend went to a moms group and i think they are all over MOPS- mothers of preschoolers i think they have local webgroups.  also i found that meetup.com had a stay at home moms group for virtually every area.  try there. goodluck.  oh also lilaguide.com
